Athlete Information

Sanction: This event is sanctioned by the National Physique Committee (NPC) - athletes must be a member of the NPC to compete - NPC cards will be available prior to the weigh-in - NPC cards are $80.

Eligibility: This event is open to any athlete in the United States and is a national qualifier. Those qualifying and desiring to enter the 2008 NPC Nationals will be assisted with their paperwork for registration for that event.

Entry Fee: Entry fee is $50 - athletes may enter one event only. Checks or money orders are accepted and should be made payable to Pete Fancher. The deadline for entry fees is Friday, November 1, 2008 - entries received after this date will be $75. Entries will not be accepted the day of the show. Entries will be accepted at the mandatory weigh-in on Friday, November 7 and will be accepted in cash only.

Weigh-In: All athletes must weigh-in and register from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the World Gym, 1650 U.S. 1 South,
St. Augustine, on Friday, November 7. Bodybuilders must weigh-in in their posing suits. No entries or weigh-ins will be allowed on the day of the show - - No Exceptions!!

Athletes Meeting: There will be a mandatory meeting of all competitors at 8:30 a.m. Athletes not attending this meeting will not be allowed to compete. Prejudging will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.

Music: Music should be turned in at the competitors meeting on Saturday, November 8. Music should be cued and ready to play - 90 seconds maximum limit for bodybuilding. Be sure and have a back-up recording.
